Teclo for Mac

Teclo is a menu bar app that plays a mechanical keyboard sound for every key you press, in any app on your Mac. Press and release sound different, like on a real board.

Features

• 16 sound packs synthesized by the app, across five moods: Mechanical, Night, Retro, Arcade and Scifi.
• Separate press and release sounds, with their own sounds for Space, Return and Delete.
• Optional mouse click sounds and a ding on Return.
• Custom packs: design your own over a base pack or record your keyboard with the microphone, and share packs as .teclo files.
• A keycap pet that sleeps until your first key, cheers up as you type and powers up when you keep the pace; its look and reactions are customizable.
• Private: Teclo reacts to key events only, never records what you type, keeps no history and needs no account.
• Lives in the menu bar, with launch at login.
